A first person adventure/mystery game, coming soon to PC

About

ZK Game Studios

ZK Game Studios was formed in February 2014 as a solo developer studio. After making a few unpublished demo games of various styles I’ve decided to work towards a fully published first person adventure/mystery game.

They’re Gone…

They’re Gone is a story driven, first person adventure/mystery game with modest puzzle aspects. You play the part of Matt, a young man returning from overseas to visit family. When you arrive there’s a strange storm raging, you make your way to the house only to realize the power is out and everyone is missing. It’s up to you to find out what happened and why they’re gone.

The game is heavily influenced by The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Gone Home and will focus on story telling through exploration. There will be multiple indoor and outdoor levels allowing you to play a more direct path or to look at everything, the more you explore the more you’ll learn.

    • Yes, at some point, but not anytime in the near future. Still have quite a ways to go…

    • Right now the demo is being fine tuned and the second and third levels are continuing to be built as well. Once the demo is to a point that there are no bugs or other issues a new trailer will be made and then the game will be put to vote on Greenlight. Development will continue during it’s time on Greenlight and even if it isn’t Greenlit it will still be finished and released elsewhere. Stay tuned for a new devlog that will have more details as well as some more insight on the other levels in progress.
